“Moon Over Pueblo”

This piece begins with a commercial casting of a Zuni pueblo. The pueblo has an earthen oven for baking bread in the lower right corner. Granaries are the bottom level of the pueblo town. Ladders lead up to the living spaces. The pueblo houses are made out of thick adobe bricks, that are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Small doors and windows can be covered over with rugs in the winter to keep the wind out. The Zuni pueblo is still in existence in the northwest corner of New Mexico.

Above the pueblo, there is a round turquoise stone. It tends more towards the green spectrum, with very little blue hues. The very top has a wavy top that is part of a handmade concha.

This pendant is very comfortable with casual wear.
