Nouveau Leaf Pendant-
Just look at the beautiful colors on this piece! Iridescent blues, greens, golds, and reds are vivid. It contrasts nicely with the bright silver wires that are intertwined over and around the piece. This is an Art Nouveau style with the flowing lines. Lord of the Rings fans will recognize the popular style.
The silver was first folded in half, then forged and chased. The edge flutes were cut to resemble a leaf’s serrated edges, then unfolded. Wires were balled on the ends, and then gracefully draped around the piece and soldered. The pendant bail is an integrated part to follow the graceful lines of the flowing wires. In addition, there is a brooch pin on the back.
The style is very classical, while the bright colors make it pop with a less conventional look. All those colors make it match up with a lot of different outfits though! Use it to accessorize many of your favorite clothing.
