This one-of-a-kind Art Nouveau style silver leaf is solid sterling silver on a sterling twisted cable. It is a statement necklace. The Art Nouveau style was used extensively in the Lord of the Ring (LOTR) movies.
The leaf has chased veins put in with a hammer and chisel. Swirly tendrils have been made to form part of the bail that suspends it from the cable, and drapes around the leaf form delicately. The bail is large enough that it can be worn with a variety of chain thicknesses and styles, a rubber cord or even a velvet choker. It has a mirror shiny finish.
The 16" cable has a tension closure for the clasp, which you push and twist to open or close. The cable is pretty substantial, 1.8 mm, so it will retain its round shape and hold the leaf close to the collarbone divot.
In addition to it being a pendant, it can be easily removed from the cable and worn as a brooch. This makes it more versatile so you get twice the benefit of it, and allows you to use it with more fashion styles.
Between the bail, the pendant, the cable and the brooch finding, you can wear it a lot of different ways. Think how you can wear it in different ways with your outfits--for office, casual or evening wear!
